The Professional Fighters League hosted the first event of the year with PFL vs. Bellator.
Of the six fights pitting PFL fighters against Bellator fighters, PFL won just a single matchup, the main event.
Renan Ferreira, the 2023 PFL season winner, took out Bellator's heavyweight champion Ryan Bader with a 21-second knockout to earn the Super Champion belt.
After the fight, Ferreira commented on his next opponent, Francis Ngannou.
"I am the real problem out here. I'm the record breaker, I'm the record-setter," he said through a translator.
Unfortunately, Ngannou did not stay long enough to do a faceoff with Ferreira after the fight.
In the co-main event, 2023 PFL light heavyweight season winner Impa Kasanganay knocked down Bellator's middleweight champion Johnny Eblen but failed to make history after dropping the fight via a split decision.
