The current bantamweight champion and a former belt holder clash tonight, Friday 3 December, as former champion Kyoji Horiguchi takes on current titlist Sergio Pettis at Bellator 272.

Pettis won the title in May 2021 when he took on and beat Juan Archuleta.

He will come up against Horiguchi who has yet to lose a title fight. After winning the belt in 2019 against Darron Caldwell, he ultimately vacated the strap after being forced to undergo knee surgery.
