Tony Bellew doesn't believe Anfield is big enough to host one of the biggest UFC fights that can be made.
A passionate Everton supporter, Bellew believes the home of his club’s biggest rivals, Liverpool, has the capacity required to provide the backdrop for Conor McGregor vs. Paddy Pimblett.
Pimblett, a big Liverpool fan, has made a big impression in the UFC so far and a showdown against McGregor is likely to mean huge business.
The fight still hasn't been confirmed, but Bellew thinks that Ireland could be the place to stage it.
Conor vs Paddy would be astronomical. Anfield would not be big enough. It would have to be Croke Park. It would be great for Paddy, it would be life changing for him,” said Bellew Speaking to BoyleSports - who provide the latest boxing betting
“It would be great for him and great for the city of Liverpool. It would be great for mixed martial arts in this country.”
