UFC veteran Yoel Romero will face Phil Davis at Bellator 266 as the 44-year-old Cuban switches events against the 36-year-old erstwhile light heavyweight champion.
Romero, a 2000 Olympic silver medallist, last fought at UFC 248, losing to Israel Adesanya to make it three defeats in a row. He has now switched to Bellator, where he faces Davis.
American fighter Davis was most recently in action against Vadim Nemkov at Bellator 257, where he also lost. He offers plenty of threat as a former light heavtweight champion from 2016-2017.
