The Battle of the Giants is just days away and 2023 PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira has maintained his confidence. Ferreira heads into the fight with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou a considerable underdog in the eyes of fans but still, he remains steadfast in himself.
"I feel like this is an ascending moment for me. I feel like my career is in an uprising, I see myself as a champion. I know I am one, and rightfully so," he said on 'Off the Cuff' ahead of his Oct. 19 fight with Ngannou.
"I expect a lot of myself," he continued.
Ferreira gave props where props were due, "Francis is a really tough guy, he's done a lot for the sport. That said, I'm coming off a great sequence, and had great performances and I truly believe that I am the best."
