Returning to the ring for the first time in 15 months, two-time world champion Daniel Jacobs takes on John Ryder at London's Alexandra Palace.
Both men will be looking to prove themselves as a legitimate world title contender in the super middleweight with a win in North London.
For Jacobs, this is another chance to challenge for a world title after losing his WBA middleweight belt to Gennadiy Golovkin in 2017 and then the IBF 160lb title to Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez two years later.
Ryder is also no stranger to the world title stage. He challenged Callum Smith for the WBA and Ring Magazine super middleweight titles in 2019, losing on points, however, there was an argument that Ryder should've been awarded the victory.
With a career crossroads fight such as this, there are plenty of bets to be made. Let's take a look at them.
Jacobs vs. Ryder odds
(Odds courtesy of Betfred ; available for betting in the United Kingdom and Ireland only)
- Danny Jacobs : 4/6
- John Ryder : 6/5
- Draw : 18/1
Betfred (as at Feb. 10) has Jacobs installed as the favourite to win outright at 4/6. That means you would need to bet £60 in order to win £40 on that result, as well as receiving the £60 stake money back. Ryder, meanwhile, is available at the very slender value of 6/5. So, a £50 bet would earn you £60 winnings plus your stake back if the Brit were victorious.
Jacobs boasts a 37-3 record with 30 of those wins coming by way of knockout, while Ryder is 30-5 with 17 wins via knockout.
Jacobs vs. Ryder prediction
Daniel Jacobs' experience and past history as a world champion makes him a slight favourite, however, the sun could slowly be setting on 'The Miracle Man' and his professional boxing career.
John Ryder meanwhile is on a path to redemption after his loss to fellow Brit Callum Smith. It was a fight which some fans thought he'd won, but it was the second time Ryder failed to deliver against a domestic foe after losing to Rocky Fielding in 2017.
For Ryder, his best chance of beating the 35-year-old American would be to get the stoppage, he cannot allow Jacobs to get into a rythm, but if he can establish the jab, Ryder will struggle and could register a sixth professional loss and his fourth via the judges' scorecards.
Astbury's pick: Daniel Jacobs via decision ( 6/5 on Betfred - UK/Ire customers only)
