Some groups were already decided heading into the final day of group stage play at the 2023-24 UEFA Women's Champions League, but that didn't mean the games would be boring.

Wednesday served up four matches as the group stage came to a close, and the eight teams combined for 20 goals as the action was furious to close the curtain on the round robin portion of this season's tournament.

The first two games featured a 2-2 draw between Lyon and Slavia Praha and a 2-1 victory for Brann over St. Polten, but the goals really ramped up in the second set of matches.

Group A sides Eintracht Frankfurt and Rosengard were already eliminated before kick-off of their match but that didn't stop the German side from flooding the net as they claimed a 5-0 victory to end their UWCL campaign.

Meanwhile in Portugal, Benfica and Barcelona played a barnburner in which eight goals were scored. There were three lead changes between the sides in a frantic match that saw Barca go up by two goals early only to eventually find themselves trailing inside the final 10 minutes after a Lucy Bronze own-goal on a set piece.

Unshaken, it was Bronze herself who nodded home the equaliser deep into stoppage time as the teams each walked away with a point after playing to the 4-4 draw.
