Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou says he takes responsibility for the manner in which they were beaten by rivals Chelsea.
Spurs lost 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, as their hopes of finishing in the Premier League top four and qualifying for the Champions League took another blow.
After back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Chelsea, things do not get much easier for Tottenham, as they travel to Merseyside on Sunday to take on Liverpool.
Speaking to the media ahead of Sunday's game, Postecoglou shouldered responsibility for Thursday's loss, saying: "We were nowhere near the levels of energy we usually show.
"Our pressing has been consistent all year and our football has fluctuated, [and that was the case] in the first half especially last night. That is my responsibility.
"I am sure they are hurt and that is part of the process. You need to feel the pain and to understand.
"You need to go through these times to learn more about yourself."
