Two-time Premier League winner Lauren believes Ben White is better off after snubbing an England call-up.
White informed Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate in March that he did not want to be considered for the national team set-up, and there is no indication that the Arsenal full-back will be included in England's Euro 2024 squad.
It was a controversial decision that made White the topic of conversation that month, but the Cameroonian member of Arsenal's Invincibles believes the 26-year-old made the right decision.
Speaking to InstantCasinos, Lauren pointed to what he believed was improved play by White as justification for the England snub.
“As a player, I like Ben White’s composure with the ball," he said. "He’s always calm, tries to make the right decision and the combination with [Bukayo] Saka and [William] Saliba has been great.
"He has a great mentality as well. When he decided to leave the national team I believe that made him a stronger man and player mentally.”
