The Gunners face Luton on Wednesday night.

David Seaman has warned his old club, Arsenal, to keep their focus as they head into the final months of the season.

The Gunners are involved in a three-way battle at the top of the Premier League. They are currently two points behind leaders Liverpool, while Manchester City are a further point back in third.

Last season, Mikel Arteta's side were in a commanding position to win the league for most of the campaign before faltering at the final hurdle by dropping points in games they were expected to win.

Speaking on his podcast Seaman Says, proudly sponsored by Parimatch, the former Arsenal goalie said that although this is a different Arsenal side, they must make sure they don't repeat the silly mistakes of last year - starting by beating Luton on Wednesday night.

Seaman said: "This is a different Arsenal team from last season. They’ve learned from what happened last season and then they've had the additions of the likes of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz, so they’re in a much better place. I was much more confident going into this Man City game than I was last season!

“Arsenal have now taken four points off Liverpool and Man City so they’ve got to be pretty happy with that. When you look at the run-ins, Arsenal have got Spurs away and Man United away, so there's a few big games coming up for them.

“My only little worry is what happened to Arsenal last season when they had a couple of games at home where they were expected to win, like against Southampton. There were a few really dodgy results there.

“For now, Arsenal just need to keep that focus on following the Man City game to avoid those results. They’ve got Luton coming up next, so they really need to win that comfortably to make a statement, especially with Bayern Munich coming up. They’ve got to keep their focus for those kinds of fixtures."
