Five weeks after their last meeting, Arsenal and Manchester will square off again on Sunday.

This time it will be in the third round of the FA Cup, with their encounter at the Emirates arguably the glamour match of the round.

When these teams last met on December 4, Arsenal cruised to a 2-0 victory that was Ruben Amorim's first defeat as Red Devils manager. Amorim has since faced growing pains as he tries to reshape the side to his preferences, but Man United head into this match on the back of a creditable 2-2 draw with Premier League-leading Liverpool.

As for the Gunners, they remain one of the better sides in England but are winless in two matches.

Arsenal vs. Manchester United: What the managers are saying

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal

(via Arsenal.com)

"It’s true they (Manchester United) played a little bit differently (against Liverpool), with the personnel that they used, the location of certain players. The characteristics of the players that they had dictate what they do, where they are, have more threat on both sides, to feet and in behind because in the end that’s what determines the behaviours of a team. It is different the last few weeks to when we played them here at home so I’m expecting a few different things."

"I see what everybody sees: a really old competition with a lot of history. I remember some finals, I think when we won the Treble against Newcastle, Sir Alex Ferguson saved some players, it was really important for the club. We won some cups, we want to continue. We know that, at this stage, we already have a really strong match but we want to win and also we want to continue to improve the team and the performance."

Arsenal vs. Manchester United: Prediction

Recent stumbles aside, Arsenal are the better team and should expect to bounce back against a United side still figuring themselves out.
