Two of the Premier League's top teams meet on Tuesday as Arsenal host Newcastle.
The Gunners start 2023 with a seven-point cushion as the league leaders, following a fantastic first half of the campaign. Meanwhile, the Magpies are also enjoying a great run under new ownership, with the side sitting third and just two points behind perennial title contenders Manchester City.
With both teams in great form, Tuesday's match promises to be an exciting one with plenty of implications for the title race.
However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta isn't worried too much about the chase for the crown just yet as he knows there's lots of work to be done in the second half of the season if his club are to be true contenders.
"I don't know, it's still a long, long run to go," Arteta said about his feelings about going seven points clear after Arsenal's New Year's Eve win over Brighton. "My excitement comes when I go in the dressing room and the players are talking about what they should've done better [against Brighton]. That means they know that we still can play better, be better and against Newcastle we will have to be better."
