After last week's narrow victory in Rome, Barcelona returned home to the Camp Nou and dominated AS Roma en route to a 5-1 second-leg win in their 2022-23 UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final.

The result means Barcelona claim a 6-1 aggregate victory and move on to the semi-finals.

A tight scoreline in last week's first leg at the Stadio Olimpico belied the one-sided nature of that match, as visiting Barca took 33 shots over the 90 minutes, including 11 on target. As visitors, Barcelona held their hosts to just 30 percent possession in the first leg and limited Roma to four attempts on goal, but the dominance in Italy only led to a 34th-minute winner by Salma Paralluelo that gave Barca the slimmest of advantages heading into Wednesday's second leg in Spain.

It didn't matter all that much though, because at Camp Nou the Barca dominance was paid off in full as four different players got onto the scoresheet for the home side. Fridolina Rolfö opened the scoring in the 11th minute and struck again moments before halftime, while María Pilar León, Asisat Oshoala and Patricia Guijarro each added a goal of their own as Barcelona jumped out to a five-goal lead inside the first 53 minutes.

Annamaria Serturini's 58th-minute strike for Roma was little more than consolation as the Italian side were once again on the wrong end of an overpowering performance by the Catalans, who have now qualified for five straight UWCL semis.
