The clubs collide on Tuesday.

Paris Saint-Germain is hoping to reach their second consecutive Champions League final. Still, to do so, they will have to get past Barcelona, who once pulled off a famous 6-1 comeback in the Champions League against the French team in 2017, overturning a 4-0 first-leg deficit.

Le Remontada still haunts PSG, but one of the inspirations for that comeback, Brazilian striker Neymar, is now playing for the other side. He is injured for this tie, as is former Real Madrid man Angel Di Maria, but they could consider themselves in with a decent shout of a win.

PSG are a point off the top of Ligue 1, but Barcelona has endured a wretched season under Ronald Koeman so far. They are eight points off the lead and only in the last few weeks has Lionel Messi shown that his unhappiness in Catalonia is starting to recede.

The Champions League is Koeman's last chance to truly impress the board, the fans, and perhaps his players.

Barcelona's Ronald Araujo, Ansu Fati, Gerard Pique and Philippe Coutinho, and Sergi Roberto are on the injury list, and Samuel Umtiti could feature but that is by no means certain.

Paris Saint-Germain will have to cope without Neymar, who was injured in the previous week's match against Caen. Colin Dagba, Timothee Pembele and Juan Bernat and Angel Di Maria are also definitely missing. Marco Verratti is a doubt, as is former Barcelona man Rafinha.
