Brighton vs. Manchester City: Preview, stream, TV channel and how to watch Premier League matchDAZN

Brighton host Manchester City in a rare Thursday Premier League match.

The Seagulls are firmly in mid-table although they still have an outside shot at qualifying for European football. However, they'll need to improve their form quickly if they hope to move up the table, as they are winless in four league matches, with two of those being losses.

Meanwhile, City have dropped into third place, mostly due to not playing a league match this past weekend, with the FA Cup semi-finals putting their PL title chase on hold. Arsenal and Liverpool are both now ahead of the defending champions, but City hold games in hand on both sides and still control their own destiny.

Regardless, City boss Pep Guardiola knows just how small the margin for error is as he declared Thursday's match "one of the toughest games of the season."

“We have had a lot of problems with important players with injuries, but we are still there,” Guardiola said.

“We are in the final of the FA Cup, we made the latter stages of the Champions League and in the Premier League we are there.

“But you can arrive to the end like this and in one week lose all titles, but the team have behaved unbelievable this season again.”
