Chelsea look to bounce back from the 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in last season's final against a familiar foe in Wolfsburg in the opening game of the 2021/22 campaign, which airs on DAZN and the DAZN YouTube channel.
The two teams met in the quarter-finals of last season's tournament which saw Chelsea thrash their German counterparts 5-1 on aggregate.
Chelsea's second successive Women's Super League title and their third in four campaigns, helped seal a place in the 2021/22 group stage after England was made the fourth-highest ranked association along with Barcelona's European success last May.
Wolfsburg have been a dominant force in recent seasons, winning back-to-back UWCL titles in 2012/13 and 2013/14. However, since their triumph seven years ago, they have been on the losing side in the final on three occasions, losing to Lyon in 2016, 2018 and 2020.
Wolfsburg have also lost a four-year grip on the Frauen-Bundesliga after Bayern Munich lifted last season's title after finishing two points clear of the She-Wolves.
This clash at Kingsmeadow is one of the standout ties from the group stage and with both teams having their eyes on reaching next May's final in Munich, a win would make an early statement to the rest of those competing.
