Croatia vs. Morocco: Time, TV channel, preview and how to watch FIFA World Cup third place match

Croatia vs. Morocco: Time, TV channel, preview and how to watch FIFA World Cup third place matchDAZN

The teams came up just short of their ultimate goal, but pride is still on the line as Croatia and Morocco meet in the third place game at the 2022 World Cup.

Morocco were the story of the tournament, with their high-octane playing style leading to a string of upsets that boosted them into the semifinals — the first African team to do so. Unfortunately that was as far as they would get, as the Moroccans ran into a well-oiled France side that look to be the best in the tournament.

It's a similar story for Croatia, who were aiming to replicate or better their runners-up finish at Russia 2018. The Croatians only won one match in normal time (a group stage victory over Canada), and they pushed their first two knockout matches to penalties, but their luck ran out against a rampant Argentina in the semis.

Now Croatia and Morocco must regroup from their respective emotional lows in order to play one last time in Qatar. There is hardware on the line, with Saturday's winners earning bronze medals, so the chance to leave with something tangible is still there for the taking.
