DAZN has acquired exclusive broadcasting rights to UEFA club competitions in New Zealand, with matches to be offered live and on-demand.

DAZN, the leading global sports streaming platform, today announced that it will become the exclusive rights holder for UEFA’s club competitions in New Zealand for the upcoming three-year broadcast cycle, 2024/25 – 2026/27 inclusive. 

Bringing Kiwi sports fans the best of European football, DAZN will broadcast games from the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League and UEFA Youth League. Fans will be able to enjoy an exciting line-up of top tier football from this month both live and on-demand.

DAZN will broadcast the UEFA Super Cup – a titanic clash between Real Madrid and Atalanta BC – on the 14th of August at 07:00 NZST/ 20:00 BST for free, as part of DAZN’s growing, industry-leading free tier, meaning that all the best action will be more accessible than ever to fans. The UEFA Champions League play-off rounds on the 20th/21st and the 27th/28th of August, and group stages from the 17th of September are also on the horizon. 

DAZN is committed to delivering unparalleled sports experiences to its subscribers, and will be offering a comprehensive selection of highlights, features, and news related to the UEFA competitions, showcasing the best goals, saves, players, matchday moments and more with English commentary. A range of subscription options will provide access to UEFA content on DAZN, including as an NZD 149.99 annual subscription (also available as NZD 14.99 monthly instalments).  

UEFA competitions will join an extensive portfolio of sports content already available to DAZN’s users in New Zealand, including boxing, NFL Game Pass, Rally.TV and FIBA Courtside 1891.
