Liverpool should prioritize signing Anthony Gordon over Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, says Dietmar Hamann.
The Reds are expected to add more players to their squad before the transfer window closes, and the dual 23-year-old wingers have both been linked to a move to Anfield this summer.
If the choice comes down to one or the other, Hamann feels Liverpool should pursue Newcastle's Gordon due to his experience in the Premier League.
However, former Liverpool midfielder Hamann also presented a scenario in which the team could target both of them.
"It's very hard to pick between Gordon and Kvaratskhelia," Hamann told TopOffshoreSportsBooks. "I don't think there's an awful lot between the players.
"The fact that Gordon has done it in the Premier League is big. I've seen very good players come to the Premier League and they couldn’t do it, it wasn't too quick for them, it was too physical for them.
"So I’d probably lean towards Gordon. But if Salah were to go, maybe there's an opportunity to get both of them."
