Emile Heskey is confident that at least two of Liverpool's out-of-contract stars will remain with the club next season.
The Reds may well be flying high at the top of the Premier League and Champions League, but there is still no sign of any new deals for star trio Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
All three will become free agents at the end of the campaign, with Alexander-Arnold strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid. However, speaking exclusively to DAZN News, thanks to Casino Scout, former Liverpool and England striker Heskey is confident that two of the star names will ink new deals with the club.
"I think two of them will sign," Heskey said.
"One's a maybe. I think two of them will sign. I think it's just the finer details to kind of iron out.
"One good thing is they're still playing at a very, very high level. They've not let that drop. I know we criticise Trent (Alexander-Arnold) for sometimes his defending, but we've been doing that for years. So, you can't say that he's been any different.
"I think he's done fantastic to try and block a lot of that out and still go out there and perform."
As a former player, Heskey does not think the contract talk will have affected the rest of the squad and believes that the current Reds side are just focussed on their trophy charge.
Adding: "I think a lot of it's focused on that. I don't think you can get too bogged down with, 'oh, he's not signed a contract'. I don't think you can get too bogged down with that.
"It's just, you go out there and perform. As long as you're putting that work in when we need you on that pitch, because that's when you're literally at war with other teams to try and win a game."
