Two of the current top three strikers in the Premier League play for Aston Villa, according to Emile Heskey.
The former Villa and England striker has a keen interest in the attackers currently ruling the roost in the league in which he plied his trade for more than 15 seasons, and Heskey believes that his former club can boast two of the best attacking talents right now.
Speaking to 10bet, Heskey pointed to a Manchester City star as the best in England's top flight, with a Villa duo right behind him in the pecking order.
"Erling Haaland has to be in there. He’s the best striker in the Premier League," Heskey said. "Behind him, I’ll put Ollie Watkins and then I’d love to say Alexander Isak if he could stay fit, but because I have fitness doubts about him, I’m going to say Jhon Duran.
"I watched Duran a season ago and I didn’t realise how young he was. You can see from the way that a player moves whether or not if they’ve got something, and he’s got something.
"When you have a player like Duran, someone with the raw attributes, you need to give him the confidence to play and the reassurances that you trust him, that you are going to rely on him.
"Arsene Wenger said, ‘Do I play a senior player when I know what I'm going to get from him? Or do I give an opportunity to a young player who I know is capable,’ that sums up Jhon Duran. A couple of clubs came in and looked at signing him this summer – I’m glad Villa kept hold of him."
