England are back in Euro 2024 action on Thursday.

After beating Serbia 1-0 in their opening Euro 2024 game, England are back in action on Thursday against Denmark.

The Danes are, on paper, England's toughest opponents in Group C, but they could only manage a draw in their opening match against Slovenia.

With the runners-up in Group C likely to face hosts Germany in the last 16, Thursday's game could prove crucial.

Chief among those who can cause England a threat on Thursday is Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen, who already has a goal in this summer's competition.

Eriksen collapsed during Euro 2020 and looked unlikely to ever play again, but he has made an incredible recovery and still plays a crucial role for his country.

England defender Kyle Walker spoke of Eriksen's talent in Wednesday's Euro 2024 press conference, and said his return to playing shows what sort of character he is.

"I don’t think we underestimate any opponent we play," said Walker. "I think you have to give them the level of respect they deserve.

"They’ve got a number of players in the Premier League, I played with Christian Eriksen at Tottenham and he can produce magic at the drop of a hat.

"What he’s done and what he’s achieved since the sad incident just shows what a character he is and what he possesses really."
