England have already qualified for Euro 2024 but still have a pair of qualifiers to play this week.
The first one comes Friday at Wembley, where the Three Lions will host Malta. With the pressures of qualification no longer applicable to England, manager Gareth Southgate now has the opportunity to experiment with his side, but the 23-man squad has just three players that are eligible for their first cap.
As Malta are expected to pose little threat, Friday could mark the international debuts of Ezri Konza, Rico Lewis and Cole Palmer, all of whom are competing for a spot alongside familiar names like Harry Kane and Kyle Walker.
