After a World Cup semi-final and quarter-final as well as being runners-up at the last Euros, is this summer finally the summer that England ends all those years of hurt?
They certainly go into the tournament as strong as they've ever been, and along with France, one of the favourites to lift the trophy in Berlin next month. With an array of attacking options that can boast the best players in the Premier League, La Liga and the Bundesliga, England (ranked 4th by FIFA) should have no fear in what's in store in Group C.
The biggest threat will come from Denmark (ranked 21st), who the Three Lions knocked out in the semi-finals at Euro 2020, but Denmark are a team who can hold their own against Europe's best. There's also difficulties in both Serbia (ranked 33rd) and Slovenia (ranked 57th) to overcome as well.
Crack on Baddiel and Skinner, because it's that time again.
