Mary Earps was a standout performer at this year's Women's World Cup.

DAZN understands that Arsenal are preparing a second and world record bid for Manchester United goalkeeper Mary Earps who has a year left on her contract with the Red Devils..

The record transfer for a goalkeeper is currently set at around £100k for San Diego Wave’s Kailen Sheridan from NJ/NY Gotham in 2021. Arsenal’s bid is understood to be ‘significantly higher.’

After a show stopping performance with England at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, it’s understandable why Gunners manager Jonas Eidevall wants to bolster his squad with the tournament's Golden Glove winner.

Earps has been with United since 2019 and ended the last Women’s Super League season conceding just 12 goals in 22 matches, and keeping 14 clean sheets. Prior to joining United she played with German side Wolfsburg.
