The new Premier League season is only three weeks old, but Jermaine Pennant is already impressed with two summer signings.
The transfer window is still very much alive with the closure of it set to take place later this week, but the former Liverpool and Arsenal star has identified two players who've made positive impacts with their new clubs.
Liverpool are rumoured to be in the market for another midfielder after losing Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to Saudi Arabian sides this summer, but it’s one of their latest recruits who has impressed Pennant most.
Dominik Szoboszlai arrived from Red Bull Leipzig with a solid reputation and the Hungarian captain has made a solid start to life on Merseyside.
“I’m not being biased here but Szoboszlai has been really good for Liverpool,” said Pennant when speaking to DAZN via Bitcoincasinos.com.
“He’s just came in and he’s gone off like a rocket. His performances have been impressive.”
Pennant also singled out Arsenal’s record signing, Declan Rice, “I think Declan Rice since he joined Arsenal has made that midfield dominant. They look a lot stronger in that area.
“The two signings that have stood out have been Declan and Szoboszlai.”
