Former Arsenal captain and Premier League winner William Gallas has suggested that Manchester City are not the same team they were last season.
Pep Guardiola's team lost 1-0 to Aston Villa on Wednesday night and are now winless in their last four league games. The defeat saw City slip to fourth in the Premier League table.
The dip in form has raised questions about City's hunger and desire after winning the treble last season. Speaking to LordPing, William Gallas said, "If you compared this City team to the one that won the treble last year or the team from a few years ago, they are not the same."
"They are conceding a lot of goals."
Gallas also hinted that some teams are figuring out City and how they play. Gallas said, "Every club knows how Pep’s team plays. Teams can frustrate Manchester City or have a real go at them."
