Morgan Rogers might have a bright future ahead of him for both Aston Villa and England, but Dean Saunders has urged the young star to keep a good head on his shoulders.
Rogers has featured in all seven of Villa's Premier League matches so far this season after debuting for the club in February following a winter transfer from Middlesbrough. The step up the Premier League has been relatively seamless for the 22-year-old, and former Villa striker Saunders believes it's only a matter of time until England come calling.
"He's on the right road," Saunders told bettingexpert.com. "He's a good athlete and he's been playing really well. He drives forward with the ball, and doesn't let the game bypass him."

While Saunders is quick to give Rogers his plaudits, the retired Wales international also warned that the young player cannot allow his rising status to get the best of him.
"He needs to keep going with the way he has been," he said. "He's a very strong, powerful runner, good on the ball. Time will tell what's under his shirt, because that counts for more than anything. Once you're playing at that level, everyone can do the basics, everybody can control the ball, pass the ball. Most people can shoot.
"What decides how far you get is what's in your head and what's under your shirt."
