William Gallas is still trying to make sense of Chelsea's transfer strategy.

The Londoners have once again embarked on a summer of acquiring several youngsters, with four of their six signings thus far under 21 years old.

The Blues have inked three teenagers so far during the transfer window: Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu and Caleb Wiley. It continues a trend under owner Todd Boehly, which puzzles former Chelsea man Gallas.

"Chelsea can’t stop signing youngsters and prospects, they’ve been doing it since Boehly took over and I can’t see them changing their recruitment strategy anytime soon," Gallas told Gambling Zone.

"I don’t want to be too critical yet because the transfer window is open for another six or seven weeks. Let’s see what they’ve done when the window closes before we pass judgement.

"I expect more younger players to join the club between now and then (September). I still don't understand why they want to buy so many young players. They've already got so many young players in their squad. I think they've got around maybe 34 players."
