Dimitar Berbatov is a big fan of Alejandro Garnacho.
The former Manchester United striker lists Garnacho as one of the most impressive current Red Devils following a season in which the 20-year-old winger scored 10 goals in all competitions.
Berbatov explained that Garnacho's free and unrestricted style of play is a joy to watch and is a vital part of United's attack, and he hopes the Argentina international will take a step further in his development this season.
"Purely because of his intent on getting the ball in going forward," Berbatov told Futbin.com about why Garnacho has made such an impression.
"He's not going backwards, he's going forward. He's direct. Of course he has a lot to learn, especially when to release the ball, when to pick his head up and see if someone is in a better position than himself because that's a situation that he misses sometimes.
"But he's the sort of player that has that boyish enthusiasm and just wants to play and enjoy. Not become tactical. Give him the ball, especially in the last third, and go out and destroy defenders."
