England may still be smarting from their disappointing performance against Greece on Thursday night, but the rumble is also still raging about England's Player of the Year.
It was announced this week that Cole Palmer had won the award for 2024, a vote that became a point of contention among many fans and pundits, including Jamie O'Hara.
Palmer won the award despite not starting a single game at Euro 2024, and talking to Grosvenor Sport, the former Tottenham man believes there were others more deserving.
“I think Marc Guehi deserved the England Player of the Year award over Cole Palmer,” he said.
“If you're going to judge it off the Euros, Guehi was brilliant at the back! I can understand why Palmer got it after scoring in the final, but he didn’t really feature otherwise, did he?

“We know it was a fan-lead vote, and think it’s them trying to prove something to Gareth Southgate, who didn’t play Palmer at all in the tournament.
"There's no doubt that Palmer is the future for the national team and an unbelievable player, but there were players that had better years for sure. That said, Southgate should have played him more and he's proving that now, let’s hope Lee Carsley doesn’t make the same mistake!"
England will look to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat at Wembley as they take on Finland on Sunday.
