Enzo Maresca begins his Blues regime.

Chelsea begin life under another new manager later this month, as Enzo Maresca becomes the latest name to lead the club under Todd Boehly.

The Blues parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino despite his impressive form at the end of last season and charged the former Leicester boss with challenging for a top-four place.

However, speaking to Grosvenor Sport, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara doesn't believe that the Blues will threaten the European places this season and has laid into the new Chelsea boss.

“I think Chelsea will finish outside the top six,” he said.

“They still haven’t got a proper striker despite all the money they’ve spent. It’s difficult to predict until the season actually starts, but from looking at the mess they’ve got in the dressing room – including that Enzo Fernandez incident and the fact they’re getting rid of their vice-captain – I can’t see them getting into the top six.

“For me, Enzo Maresca is a yes man. He’ll just be there and say yes to everything Todd Boehly wants – Boehly will probably pick the team and Maresca coach it. I can’t see Chelsea being successful anytime soon.”
