Jamie O'Hara has urged Manchester United to sell midfielder Casemiro because he doesn't believe he can cut it in a top European league.
The Brazilian arrived at Old Trafford in a £60 million deal in 2022, and played 83 times for the club, scoring 12 goals.
Despite winning the League Cup and FA Cup during his two seasons in Manchester, the midfielder was singled out last year for some below-par performances, with many questioning his future in Erik ten Hag's team.
Speaking to Grosvenor Sports, former Tottenham midfielder O'Hara believes it's time for the 32-year-old to move on, and the club's focus should be on the younger players coming through.
“What I’d say about Casemiro is that his legs look like they’ve gone,” he said.
“Last season he was treading water at times, so I think if Manchester United can get rid of him then they should do so. If an offer from Saudi Arabia comes in and it’s a good one, then they should just accept it and move on.
“United have young players like Kobbie Mainoo coming in and they should be giving him the licence to be the main man. Casemiro last season looked really leggy, so if the club get the opportunity to move him then they should probably take it.”
