Louis Saha believes that Tottenham Hotspur are serious contenders for this season’s Premier League following their impressive start to the season.
Ange Postecoglu’s side have begun the campaign well and their attacking, energetic brand of football has won many plaudits with Saha being the latest.
Following spells at Fulham, Manchester United, and Everton, Saha played for the North London for a short period, and he’s impressed with what he’s seen at his former club.
Bigger tests certainly lie in wait for Spurs, but Saha didn’t hold back when discussing whether they could go all the way in this season’s Premier League race.
“They have a big squad, they’re playing very well and as we’ve seen Leicester City win the Premier League, I’m not going to say that Tottenham Hotspur can’t win the Premier League title this season,” said Saha when speaking with BetFred.
“Tottenham have a lot of quality players and their manager is new to English football, but it’s brilliant to see that he’s managed in various other countries prior to Spurs.
“I hope that Tottenham can be consistent this season and push Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and all the rest.”
