The Scot's future is unclear at the London club.

West Ham United face a big decision this summer whether or not to part ways with manager David Moyes.

The Scotsman's contract runs out in the summer, and despite revealing that the club has offered him a new deal, there has been no confirmation on the future of the current boss ahead of next season.

Moyes is set to lead the club to another top-eight finish this season, a year after he led the side to their first major trophy for 40 years when they won last season's Europa Conference League. Despite those achievements, a section of the Hammers fanbase have made it known that they would like to see Moyes' reign come to an end, largely down to his style of football.

Speaking exclusively to DAZN via 1337.Games, former Hammers defender Jonathan Spector believes now could be the right time for the club and manager to say their goodbyes.

He said: "Yeah, I’m not one to be quick in wanting managers to move on, but if you look at West Ham’s record over the last 20 games, it’s not great, and it seems now taking everything into consideration that his position there is untenable at this point.

"You can criticise how it has all been handled, but it seems as though his time at the club is probably up, and I think it’s time to move on.

"I think supporters have short-term memories… what the club did last year was incredible and I loved following it and watching as a fan of the club.

"He did a fantastic job there, and whilst it does seem as though his time is up there, I still think that David Moyes is a fantastic manager, just maybe not for West Ham anymore."
