The DAZN Bet Trading Team once again look at the week ahead to provide you with their top picks for this week’s top sports betting events.

Odds* provided by DAZN Bet .

FC COPENHAGEN V MANCHESTER CITY – CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – 17:45 – OCTOBER 11

Manchester City can secure their place in the next stage of the competition when they travel to Denmark on Tuesday.

City were dominant when running out 5-0 winners last week, and there’s no reason to expect anything less from them when the two sides face off once again.

They managed 16 shots on target in the reverse fixture and if they can continue to create so many chances, they should cruise through to the knockout phase with games to spare.

Traders’ Tip: Manchester City Total – Over 3.5 Goals @ 6/4. A £10 bet at these odds could return £25.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT – CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – 20:00 – OCTOBER 12

After playing out a goalless draw in Germany, Spurs and Frankfurt will face off once again in their quest to reach this seasons’ Champions League knockout phase.

Group D is already proving to be difficult to call, with both teams currently level on four points, two points behind leaders Sporting Lisbon, and a point ahead of Marseille.

Both sides have struggled to score in Europe this season. Spurs have scored just twice in their opening three matches, both coming in a 2-0 home victory over Marseille, whilst Frankfurt’s only goal came when they visited France on Matchday 2.

With qualification potentially on the line we wouldn’t be surprised to see another tentative affair here, where goals could once again be at a premium.

Traders’ Tip: Under 2.5 Goals @ 23/20. A £10 bet at these odds could return £21.50.

LIVERPOOL V MANCHESTER CITY –  PREMIER LEAGUE - 16:00 – OCTOBER 16

Anfield will be the destination for the biggest game in the Premier League this weekend, as Liverpool welcome Manchester City.

Haaland and De Bruyne have formed a formidable partnership for City, and it seems like only an injury could prevent the former from breaking all sorts of Premier League goalscoring records this season.

Despite their struggles, Liverpool have not lost a home Premier League match since a 1-0 defeat to Fulham in March last year. Mo Salah always poses a threat up front, and given that he's scored in five of his six encounters with Man City at Anfield, it’s hard to rule out the prospect of him scoring when the Sky Blues come to town.

Liverpool have lost only once in their last 10 Premier League games at home to Man City, so it’s hard to pick a winner. However, we do expect goals in what should hopefully be another classic encounter.

Traders’ Tip: Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams To Score @ 8/11. A £10 bet at these odds could return £17.27.

T20 WORLD CUP – OCTOBER 16 TO NOVEMBER 13

The T20 World Cup starts when Namibia take on Sri Lanka in Geelong on Sunday, followed by Netherlands against UAE.

The top eight sides from the 2021 World Cup won’t be playing until Super 12s get underway the following week, and hosts Australia will be hoping to follow up their success from last year when they won seven of their eight matches en route to a T20 World Cup title.

India may currently be ranked as the No.1 T20 side in the ICC rankings, but they haven’t made the final since winning the inaugural competition back in 2007, and their failure at the recent Asia Cup shows that they still seem to struggle with multi-team tournaments.

Josh Hazelwood is currently rated as the best T20 bowler in the world and with players like Adam Zampa and Aaron Finch showing fairly decent form during 2022, it's hard to look past Australia having a decent run on home soil.

Traders’ Tip: Australia to Win the 2022 T20 World Cup @ 11/4. A £10 bet at these odds could return £37.50.
