Leandro Trossard was the man of the hour on Sunday after his first-half goal powered Arsenal to a 1-0 victory at Manchester United.

Trossard's hard run into the six-yard box was rewarded when Kai Havertz smartly put a ball across the face of goal in the 20th minute that required an easy finish by the Belgian international. The Gunners kept the pressure on for most of the rest of the match but settled for just the lone goal, which was enough to secure another crucial three points in their pursuit of the Premier League title.

While the goals weren't as free-flowing as Trossard and Arsenal have become accustomed to this season as the highest-scoring team in the league, the 29-year-old was still pleased with his team's efforts to keep their title chase alive.

"Maybe it wasn't the prettiest game but credit to the guys, we defended so well," Trossard told BBC Sport.

"We kept another clean sheet and one goal is enough to win the game.

"We were struggling a little bit so it was so nice to get the win.

"When you're only 1-0 up it is always a bit tricky. We were trying to score a second but they are dangerous on the counter attack.

"It is a great run for us and now we take it to the final game. You never know what is going to happen."
