Germany will finally finish their 18-month stretch of friendlies when they host Greece on Friday.
The Germans are set to host Euro 2024 later this month, meaning they didn't have to play in qualifiers for the quadrennial event. Instead, they embarked on a 13-match schedule of friendlies across Europe and in the United States, with relatively little success as they experimented with different players throughout.
The time for experimenting is over as Julian Nagelsmann prepares his side for the continental championship. For a final act, they take on a Greece side that failed to qualify for the tournament but that have enjoyed good results of late, losing just once in their last seven matches.
