The two teams go at it on Sunday afternoon.

Harry Redknapp believes Manchester City will be comfortable winners in Sunday’s derby match with Manchester United.

United are in sixth, three points behind fifth-placed Tottenham with a Champions League spot looking unlikely.

City are currently in with a chance of repeating the treble, with all three major competitions left to contest, and are in second spot in the Premier League, a single point behind league-leaders Liverpool.

Erik ten Hag is under pressure after an underwhelming start to his second season at Old Trafford, while Pep Guardiola looks content at the Etihad.

Speaking to BetVictor, Redknapp sees only one winner.

He said: “I can’t wait for this one. Manchester City looked in incredible form during the week against Luton. Five goals for Erling Haaland, four assists for Kevin De Bruyne, it’s just ridiculous. As good as Liverpool have been in the last few weeks, it’s still going to be a huge ask to finish above this City side.

“As for Manchester United, that defeat to Fulham was a real shock. The performances recently haven’t exactly been great, but they’ve still been getting results. This United concede so many chances though and that’s been a massive issue for them all season.

“The days of the “noisy neighbours” seem a long time ago now, City always seem to win this game these days.  They look in great form and I can see them scoring a few.”

Redknapp backed playmaker Kevin De Bruyne to continue to impress after his comeback from injury, adding: “As amazing as Erling Haaland is, Kevin De Bruyne is the main man for me. What an incredible footballer he is, he’s come back from his injury like he was never away.”
