The Premier League will take its penultimate international break of 2024 after this weekend's fixtures, but which teams will head into the break off the back of a winning result?
Lead leaders Liverpool will be hoping to keep their place at the top of the table as they visit Selhurst Park, while Southampton fans will be looking for their first win of the season away at Arsenal.
Ahead of the weekend, Harry Redknapp gave BetVictor his predictions for Matchday Seven.
Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool
Crystal Palace are having a tough time at the minute. I feel for Oliver Glasner, he lost two of his best players over the summer in Joachim Andersen and Michael Olise. Eddie Nketiah has looked bright, but he’ll need time to settle. I think this side should kick on after the international break.
Liverpool have bounced back from that shock defeat to Nottingham Forest a few weeks ago. That was a good win for them the other night against Bologna. They’ve got some massive games coming up after the break, it’s vital that they get the win here.
I don’t see much in this, but I think Liverpool edge it.
One to watch: Mohamed Salah shows no sign of slowing down. He’s been brilliant this season and looks as good as ever.
Arsenal 4-0 Southampton
There aren’t many better teams in Europe than Arsenal right now. I thought they were terrific against PSG during the week, this defence is just so solid, so well organised. I thought they would really miss Martin Odegaard, but other players have really stepped up for them, most notably Leandro Trossard in that number 10 role.
Boy, am I worried about Southampton. I don’t see where the wins are going to come from right now and the atmosphere around the club seems off. They were poor at Bournemouth the other night; this could be a long afternoon at the Emirates.
I can only see a routine Arsenal win. I think it might be as much as four.
One to watch: I think Leandro Trossard goes under the radar and is a bit underrated. This boy is a very, very good finisher and this Southampton side give you chances. I can see him scoring in this.
Brentford 1-0 Wolves
Surely Brentford aren’t scoring again in the first minute! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it, to keep doing it is unbelievable, but I don’t know how teams keep switching off. They’ve been a bit unfortunate in the last few games, but the fixtures ease up a little now and I can see them getting some wins.
I’m worried about Wolves; it’s been such a tough start for them. They’ve had some tough fixtures and have been in every game, but to be without a win at this stage is far from ideal.
I just fancy Brentford at home, they’re such an awkward side to play against.
One to watch: It has to be Bryan Mbuemo, particularly in the first minute of the game!
Brighton 2-2 Tottenham
This should be an entertaining game. Brighton have gone off the bubble a little bit of late, they could do with a good result. They had their moments against Chelsea but some of the defending was just shambolic. I know they like to attack and score goals but there needs to be a balance.
Spurs were terrific at Old Trafford, even before that sending off. I think Ange Postecoglou needed that statement win just to remind everyone how good this side can be.
With the way these two sides set up, I think we’re guaranteed goals. This could be anything but I’m going for a 2-2 draw.
One to watch: James Maddison looked more like himself last week at Old Trafford and seems back to his best. He’s had a difficult time and being left out the Euros squad was bound to have been a blow, hopefully we see more of that from him here though.
Man City 2-1 Fulham
Two draws in a row for Manchester City, Pep Guardiola won’t be happy with that. Losing Rodri is just such a big blow to them, I think he’s the one guy that Pep wouldn’t have wanted to lose. Nonetheless, they’ve got to find a way to play without him.
Year after year, Marco Silva does a great job, and I think he goes under the radar. They may not score bucketloads, but they’re a very well organised side and are very capable of an upset. This won’t be easy for City.
I’ve got to back City at home though, Erling Haaland has just been unstoppable. I won’t be shocked if Fulham score though.
One to watch: Phil Foden has had a quiet start to the season but he looked back to his best during the week. This might be the game where we see the best of him again.

West Ham 1-1 Ipswich
It’s not been a great start for Julen Lopetegui at West Ham. I know he’s trying to change the style and he deserves time, the performances haven’t been good though. I know what those fans are like, they’ll want an improvement, or the pressure will mount.
I think Ipswich have been excellent this season. That’s now four draws on the bounce and they really should have won a couple of them. They seem to be relishing the challenge of staying in the league and upsetting some of these big clubs, I don’t see that same mentality at Southampton for instance.
I think Ipswich might make it five draws in a row here! This could be a nervy, cagey game and I don’t see much in it.
One to watch: Mohammed Kudus is such a class act for West Ham and he’s someone that I don’t think enough people realise how good he is. The way he can carry the ball and glide across the pitch is amazing.
Leicester 2-2 Bournemouth
Leicester and Steve Cooper must have been gutted last week; they came so close to a fantastic result at the Emirates. They’ve got to take the positives though, they’re not far away from getting a win.
It’s been a decent start to the season for Bournemouth, that was a big win for them over Southampton the other night. To me, they look a level above some of the sides down at that end of the table.
I think we can see a really good game here, Bournemouth are always a good side to watch. 2-2.
One to watch: It’s got to be Jamie Vardy, he’s just as influential as ever for Leicester.
Everton 1-2 Newcastle
The Anthony Gordon derby! What a big win that was for Everton last week, that should give them a real boost. They rode their luck a little bit at times, but Dwight McNeil showed yet again what a lovely left foot he’s got.
That was a good point for Newcastle against City. That heavy defeat away to Fulham was alarming but they bounced back and will look to go on a decent run of form.
I just think Newcastle should have too much quality for Everton. I’m leaning towards a 2-1 away win.
One to watch: This can only be Anthony Gordon! The lad left Everton on not the best of terms and those fans haven’t really forgiven him. I’m sure he’ll get pelters, but I like his attitude and can see him getting the last laugh.
Aston Villa 2-1 Man United
What a night that was for Villa the other night! They had a difficult start but they I thought they were terrific, and I just had a feeling they were going to pull off the upset against Bayern Munich. That should give them such confidence going into this one.
What a game in Porto that was last night, but I think it might just be papering over the cracks for Man United. Let’s be honest, that’s not a great Porto side and United really shouldn’t be blowing two-goal leads to them. I’ll be very interested to see what happens at United over the next week or two, particularly if they lose this.
I just have to pick Villa in current form. They’ll be full of confidence and in Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran, they’ve got two lads who will cause so many problems.
One to watch: It’s got to be the man of the moment, Duran! This lad is some finisher, his goals are always brilliant. What a left peg he has, he’s making it so hard for Unai Emery to keep putting him on the bench.
Chelsea 3-1 Nottingham Forest
Whisper it, but Chelsea are looking very, very impressive right now. I know they have their issues at times at the back but going forward, this side are as good as anyone. You look at the options Enzo Maresca has at his disposal, it could be an exciting season.
It’s been a good start to the season for Forest. They were a little unlucky against Fulham last week, there wasn’t much in that game at all. That was their first loss though, that shows how organised they are.
I just think Chelsea will have too much for them here though. Win this, and it couldn’t have been a better start for Enzo Maresca.
One to watch: Cole Palmer, he’s not bad isn’t he? Just an unbelievable performance from the boy last week, a joy to watch. He just has such confidence in his ability and no wonder!
