Inter Miami's rise as a globally known club will continue this summer as the Major League Soccer (MLS) side will take part in FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
Miami are just five years removed from their first-ever match, but the Florida side have already become recognised worldwide due to the superstar names that have been attached to the club in their short history.
Co-owned by David Beckham, the Herons have become synomymous with signing some of the best-known players in the sport, including Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Gonzalo Higuain.
How did Inter Miami qualify for FIFA Club World Cup 2025?
Unlike the other four clubs from the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) that will play in the Club World Cup, Inter Miami did not win a CONCACAF Champions League title to earn their spot in the tournament.
Instead, FIFA designated one slot of the 32 total for a team from the host nation.
The Herons secured that berth by putting together the best overall record in the 2024 MLS regular season, winning the Supporters' Shield in the process.
FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Inter Miami's schedule
Miami were drawn into Group A alongside Al Ahly (Egypt), Palmeiras (Brazil) and Porto (Portugal).
As such, the Herons will open the tournament at home.
