Phil Foden is expected to sweep up the individual awards after a stellar season at Manchester City, while Harry Kane is coming off his best-ever goal-scoring campaign.
However, it's Jude Bellingham, a La Liga title winner with Real Madrid, who's been Europe's standout star. So much so that former Premier League midfielder Jamie O'Hara is tipping the midfieder to win the game's biggest individual prize.
“Bellingham’s going to be in with a shout for the Ballon d’Or,” he told Grosvenor Sport.
"To do what he’s done, he’s an incredible player. I love watching him play football.
“He’s in the Champions League final and if he produces a big moment in it, then he’s definitely deserving of the award.
“I think Harry Kane still deserves to be in with a shout but if you don’t win trophies, you don’t win the awards, it’s as simple as that. It looks like it’s going to be someone from Real Madrid and I’d give it to Bellingham.”
