Liverpool should target Leroy Sane to replace Mohamed Salah, says Jermaine Pennant.
Salah has long been coveted by clubs in the Saudi Pro League and could make the move to the Middle East this summer, which would leave a gaping hole in the Reds' attack should it come to fruition.
Pennant believes Bayern Munich star Sane, who made over 100 appearances in all competitions with Manchester City before heading back to the Bundesliga, would be the perfect replacement for the Liverpool icon.
“You need someone with experience to replace Mohamed Salah, like Leroy Sane," Pennant told Coin Poker.
"For me, that would be a great signing, he has pace, he cuts in on his right or left. When he played at the Emirates he was absolutely unreal, he tore Arsenal apart.
“So if he can do that to Arsenal at the Emirates, he’d be an amazing signing. He knows the Premier League with City.”
