The 2024 European Championships begin this evening, as hosts Germany take on Scotland in Munich in front of a sell-out crowd.
The game marks the start of four jam-packed weeks of international football, where some of the world's best players will be on display.
England are gearing up for their opening match against Serbia on Sunday, and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford says he is excited to watch one of his favourite players on Friday evening.
Pickford said the England squad will be watching the Germany vs. Scotland game after training on Friday, and he singled out German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer as one of his favourite players.
Speaking to the media at England's pre-match press conference on Friday, Pickford was full of praise for his German counterpart.
"He's one of the best keepers in my era growing up, I still love to watch him now," said Pickford.
"What a top goalkeeper he is - for what he has won and how he plays the game.
"At 38, to still be playing at the highest level is something I'd like to be doing.
"He's probably one of the top three in the last 15 to 20 years."
