There's a vacancy at Stamford Bridge.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio believes Kieran McKenna and Enzo Maresca are frontrunners for the vacancy at Chelsea.

Maresca and McKenna will both be in the Premier League next season, the former with Leicester City and the latter with Ipswich Town.

However such are their respective reputations they are being linked with higher-profile vacancies.

After Mauricio Pochettino’s departure from Stamford Bridge, Di Marzio told Soccernews.nl what and who Chelsea are looking for.

He explained: “Chelsea are looking for a younger coach in this new era and want someone with a football proposal that promotes offensive football and at the moment the two coaches they want are Kieran McKenna and Enzo Maresca."

"They will have direct contact in the next few hours and days ahead and will both have to convince Chelsea they’re the right coach."
