A brace from striker Kylian Mbappe helped Paris Saint-Germain into the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday night.

After beating Real Sociedad 2-0 in the first leg, PSG travelled to Spain on Wednesday expecting a tough game, but two goals from the French striker made it a comfortable night in the end.

It is widely reported that Mbappe has agreed to join Real Madrid at the end of the season, ending a six-year spell with the French champions.

But since that proposed move to Los Blancos was made public, Mbappe has seen significantly less playing time - Tuesday was his first full 90-minutes since early February.

Many have speculated that Mbappe's decision to leave has caused a rift with manager Luis Enrique, but Mbappe dismissed those rumours after Tuesday's game.

"My relationship with the coach is good," Mbappe told French broadcasters Canal Plus.

"There is no problem even if people might think there is. I have many issues but the coach is not one of them."

"I always want to play in the Champions League, it is a very important competition. I could never be a player who hides."
