Manchester City find themselves in third place in the Premier League after drawing 0-0 with Arsenal over the weekend.
City now host Aston Villa, who are five points back of the defending champions, in a crucial midweek fixture that could go a long way towards determining the fate of both clubs.
If City are to mount another furious comeback similar to last year's when they surpassed Arsenal to win the league title, they'll need to do so quickly and must now also contend with Liverpool, who top the table with just nine matches remaining.
For Pep Guardiola, the solution is simple: Just keep winning.
"Just winning games is what we have to do [to win trophies],” Guardiola said.
“We have not many more chances to drop points. [There are] nine games [left].
“Villa are playing for the Champions League and every team [is] playing for something. The last games are difficult to manage. It will be [difficult] for all of us.”
