Arsenal will attempt to stay in first place in the Premier League for at least another few days as they visit Manchester United on Sunday.
The Gunners enter the weekend a point clear of Manchester City, but could kick off at Old Trafford down two points as City will be in action the day previous. Regardless, a victory over City's rivals will ensure that the North London side keeps its spot atop the table.
However, City hold a game in hand and will need to drop points somewhere for Arsenal to have a shot at the league title. It's something that is on Mikel Arteta's mind, but he knows there's nothing his side can do other than to win their own matches.
"That’s something that’s not in our hands," the Arsenal manager said of City dropping points. "I’m telling you how I’m feeling, the thoughts that come into my head and what is driving my energy and my purpose right now is that.
"That ambition and that objective that is so good."
