Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has claimed Mo Salah is one of the Premier League's all-time greats.
Salah has scored ten goals in 12 appearances this season and will be critical for Liverpool's game against Manchester City on Saturday.
Overall, Salah has scored 149 Premier League goals in 243 appearances.
Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, Enrique said, "In the Premier League, as a right-winger, no one else has put up those kind of numbers as Mohamed Salah."
Enrique continued, "People forget that he is a winger, and in that position, he is an all-time great."
Enrique also suggested that Salah is more important to his team than Erling Haaland is to his. The Spaniard said, "I think Mohamed Salah is more important to Liverpool than Erling Haaland is to Manchester City."
"Because Liverpool don’t have anyone else that can play in that position. City have Julian Alvarez, a great player who can play as a striker for them."
Salah must be at his best if Liverpool are to defeat Man City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
