National League Games this weekend: Final round of January sees some key clashesDAZN

2025 is already a month old, and the final round of January sees a full 3pm fixture list for the National League and some big games both up and down the division.

You can catch all the highlights from all twelve of the fixtures on DAZN this Saturday evening, where Forest Green will look to extend their lead at the top when they travel to Altrincham, while Barnet and York will be ready to pounce on any Rovers misstep.

Here is the pick of this weekend's games from a packed Saturday afternoon.

Games to watch from the National League this week

Gateshead vs Oldham

  • Date: Saturday, January 25
  • Time:  3.00pm GMT

Two sides who have been on the tails of the automatic promotion pack but whose form has taken a bit of a dive over the winter period.

Oldham missed out on the chance to close that gap in midweek, when they lost 2-0 to title-chasing York, meaning Mickey Mellon's side have now lost three of their last four games ahead of the trip to the North-East.

Gateshead has also hit a sticky patch, with no win in three and having scored only once during those outings.

AFC Fylde vs Wealdstone

  • Date: Saturday, January 25
  • Time: 3.00pm GMT

The familiar faces of Kevin Phillips and Matt Taylor meet on the touchline in a real six-pointer at the bottom of the National League.

Fylde's disappointing 4-1 defeat to Maidenhead last week means it's three defeats on the spin for Phillips, and his side are now four points from safety at the foot of the table.

They face a Wealdstone side who are just a place and three points above them - and with only one win in their last five - meaning a win for either side will be vital in their battle for survival.

Dagenham and Redbridge vs Southend United

  • Date: Saturday, January 25
  • Time:  3.00 pm GMT

An Essex derby between two sides who should be closing on a comfortable second half of the season in the middle of the National League table.

The Dags enjoyed their moment in the FA Cup spotlight, and return to action for the first time since that televised loss to Championship side Millwall.

They'll be looking for local bragging rights against Southend following the pair's 2-2 draw earlier in the campaign.
